Each year one Officer is named as Police Officer of the Year and is honored on Loyalty Day in a ceromony held at the Township Building hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Springfield-Delco Post #7, and the Springfield Board of Commissioners.
The 2023 recipient honored June 11, 2023 was Officer Kevin Oswald.
