An entry level written examination for the position of Probationary Police Officer will be administered on Saturday March 1, 2025. Click here (notice) for important information regarding minimum requirements and eligibility for taking the exam.
Part 1 applications may be printed from this website or picked up at Springfield Police Station 50 Powell Rd. during business hours 9am-4pm Monday through Friday.
Take note: beginning Monday January 27, 2025, applications can be picked up at temporary Springfield Police Station 601 Baltimore Pk.
Applications may be returned to the department 50 Powell Rd. beginning January 16, 2025. Take note: after January 24, 2025, applications must be returned to temporary Springfield Police Station 601 Baltimore Pk.
Deadline to return completed applications is 4pm Friday February 21, 2025.
